About Simply Blossom
Hi. I’m Shazia – a Muslim lass with Islam in my heart and love for decorating cakes & cookies. I’m a self-taught, passionate cookie artist and cake decorator based in West Midlands, Birmingham. My journey began in 2020, where I came across some amazing cookies and felt like it was something I could do. I always loved Art and being creative from a very young age. Little did I know, my interest would turn into my passion and I would be a part of many celebrations, making forever lasting memories.
In the Summer of 2025, I baked a cake for my daughter who was returning from Korea. This caused a spark in me and instantly I felt this was something I wanted to dive into deeper. Each time I made a cake, I craved to make another, and through this, it made me realise how much I wanted to pursue my cake journey. Moreso, from all the years of cookie decorating, I found so much pleasure in seeing others happy during their special celebrations. From this moment, I knew it was something I wanted to continue and grow in. I’ve Simply Blossomed, hence the name, and continue to do so.
